How
measure and place a Martingale collar? To measure your dog for a Martingale collar, use a soft measuring tape and take measurements at point A, B and C in the drawing.
A) Around the widest part of the head just in front of the ears. This measure is more important if the neck is for a non-greyhounds.
B) around the narrowest part of the neck, just behind the ears.
C) around the middle of the neck.
For Hounds, the measurement points A and B may be identical or very similar, is because their heads are often the same size or smaller than their necks. Need to choose a neck size is large enough to slip over the head (point A), but not too big to fit properly in point B.
